-
Social Services / Catholic
Charities
...
With a mission of
charity and compassion, Catholic Charities promotes
the sanctity and dignity of all people. The
Ministries of Mercy programs, Foundations of Life,
Shelters of Hope and Friends in Need, offer a better
life to the needy, poor, suffering, and marginalized
living in our Diocese.
-
Catholic Formation and Education
...
Catholic formation and
education teaches us the spiritual and moral truths
of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our Catholic
Schools, Parish Religious Education Programs, Youth
Groups, Campus Ministry, Adult Faith Formation, and
the Lay Pastoral Ministry Institute (LPMI) use this
foundation to guide, evangelize, and provide
resources for each of us to become faithfully
engaged and caring members of our church, community,
society, and the world.
-
Vocations to the Priesthood and Religious
Life ... Our
Clergy, Religious and Seminarians are called from
the love of the heart of Jesus. For 2000
years, they have stood alongside millions guiding,
protecting, administering, and leading them to
Christ. These vocations, especially our
Seminarians, hold the hope that God is truly present
and in this world.
-
Parish-School and
Diocesan Ministry Programs and Services ...
Preparing for eternal
life, we are called to live our lives on earth in
His image. By working together as one body,
one community of faith, we can spread the Good News
by Word and deed beyond the boundaries of any one
parish. With unified support from services
such as the Worship, Stewardship and Development,
Construction, Finance and Accounting, Human
Resources and Insurance offices and ministries such
as our radio station Spirit FM, the Bethany Retreat
Center, and Marriage Tribunal, we build strength
with our parishes to be good stewards of God's
varied gace.
