Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is the contemplation and recognition of the true presence of Jesus under the sacred species of bread and wine outside the celebration of Mass held each week for 24 hours immediately following the Friday 8:30 a.m. Mass until the Saturday morning 8:30 a.m. Mass.

How to Participate: The Blessed Sacrament is never left alone and devotion continues as the crowning jewel at the heart of our parish's private worship of our Lord. Adoration began at St. Paul's in response to the call for Church vocations, especially to the Priesthood and Religious Life. We welcome all to participate in this beautiful devotion. We also invite those who are 18 years and older who could commit to an hour a week to call and schedule a time that is convenient for you.

Bible Study

The Bible Study program meets September through May each year, examining all of the Books of Scripture. Small groups of approximately 8 persons share their thoughts taken from the question sheets provided at each meeting. A 30-minute lecture follows providing the historical, liturgical, and pertinent facts, including the writings of the Church Fathers, thoughts of the Saints and Scripture scholars. The Catechism of the Catholic Church and Navarre Catholic commentaries are the primary references. Each lecture holds a life application to our everyday experiences. The Bible Study is open to adults and teenagers.

How to Participate: You must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Catholic Church who possesses a sound knowledge of the Bible and have good communication skills in presenting materials and facilitating discussions. Training is provided for Table Leaders/Facilitators and Support Staff.

St. Paul's Women Club

We are the women of the parish who meet monthly. Our purpose is three fold. We strive for: 1) Fellowship with other Catholic women of our parish through our meetings and activities, 2) Spiritual enrichment, and 3) Service to our church and community.

Our membership truly reflects the diversity of the St. Paul parish family. We have members who have been at the parish for many years and some who have recently joined. Our membership ranges from those who are retired, to working professionals, to stay at home moms. Members may be grandparents, parents, those just starting families, and single women.

Although our backgrounds and ages may differ, we all grow in friendship through our activities and fellowship throughout the year.

Young Adult Ministry

"Young adulthood refers to people in their late teens, twenties, and thirties (18-39); single, married, divorced, widowed, and with or without children. They are present in every trade and profession. they live in the many communities that make up our society - from rural areas to small towns to large metropolitan areas. They come from diverse cultural, ethnic, educational, vocational, social, political, and spiritual realities. (From Sons & Daughters of the Light: A Pastoral Plan for Ministry with Young Adults, written and compiled in 1993 by the National Conference of Catholic Bishops.)

"Young adult ministry is the Church's response to the needs of young adults. The Church invites them to share their gifts with the larger community, and challenges them to live Gospel values in the world. On a diocesan, parish, or one-to-one level, within an intergenerational Church, and serve in the world. Ministers collaborate with young adults to awaken and foster their baptismal call to discipleship. Through interconnected social, service, spiritual or educational ministries, a process is begun empowering young adults to own the ministry. Rather than offering fixed programs, the process changes and evolves as young adults developed the ministry. The talents that young adults discover in themselves are to be encouraged and directed toward the building of the Reign of God." (Quoted from Blueprints for Young Adult Ministry by the National Catholic Young Adult Ministry Association in the Handbook for Young Adult Ministry published by the Archdiocese of Boston. )
