Vocations

Vocations Ministry

Our Vocations Ministry at St. Paul Parish fosters an awareness of the uniqueness of each person's call to holiness.  We offer resources and information which can help young people discern whether God is calling them to the priesthood, diaconate, religious life, married life, or the single life.  Special attention is given to praying for ecclesial vocations or vocations to the religious and priestly life.

All parishioners are encouraged to become active in Vocation Ministry, especially by praying daily for those discerning their vocation.

Prayer for Vocations

God our Father, You made each of us
to use our gifts in the Body of Christ.
We ask that You inspire
young people whom you call to
priesthood and consecrated life
to courageously follow Your will.

Send workers into Your great harvest
so that the Gospel is preached,
the poor are served with love,
the suffering are comforted,
and Your people are strengthened
by the sacraments.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
