Sunday Masses to Resume on the Solemnity of Pentecost

May 30 & 31, 2020

This Pentecost, we will celebrate the Mass in the main church.  Masses were originally scheduled to be held outside, but due to the potential of inclement weather this weekend, Masses have been moved into the church. The Mass times are as usual:

  • Saturday, May 30: 5:30pm and 7:30pm (Portuguese)
  • Sunday, May 31: 7:30am, 9:00am, 10:45am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm (in Spanish), and 5:30pm

Please bring:

  1.  Mask and hand sanitizer. A large percentage of our active parishioners are vulnerable to Covid-19. Wearing a mask or facial covering is a wonderful way to say that you care about THEIR health and wellbeing.  It is the Christian thing to do and as we come to Mass, we always want to be kind and loving!
  2. A phone or tablet with the St. Paul Catholic Church App installed
  3. A heart ready to sing God’s praises and to receive the Blessed Sacrament!

During Mass:

1. Please wear a mask or facial covering. This is for the comfort and safety of the vulnerable members of our parish family. Thank you for your kindness!

2. Sanitize your hands before and after Mass. This is a great habit for us all to get into!

3. Observe physical distancing from those you do not live with.

4. During the Mass, we will bow for the sign of peace and you are encouraged to receive the Blessed Sacrament in the throne of your hands.  If you are sick or if someone you have been in contact with is sick, please stay at home. If you are vulnerable to the disease or in any way do not feel comfortable coming to Mass, please stay at home. If you are unwilling to follow the guidelines stated above, please stay at home. God understands and so do we! You are dispensed from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass and we will provide a live broadcast of the 10:45am Mass at www.facebook.com/stpaultpa.

Beginning on Tuesday, May 26th, The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) will be held inside the church in the church confessionals.

The number of people coming for confession has increased. As a result, we will begin this week to offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation Monday through Friday from 11am-12pm in the Church reconciliation chapels. We have also added an additional confessional in the priest study so that each priest has his own to help provide a safer environment for you and our priests until the pandemic clears.
